WELCOME TO AND EARLY SPRING WITH SOME NEW ADDITIONS COMING VERY SOON!

Hello Everyone!

We have been very quiet for a couple of months as we have been relocating to our new headquarters to accommodate our growing collection of New Caledonian geckos.  Moving was very tedious and getting all set up at the new location is something we are proud of accomplishing..... 

BUT, it has kept us from our true mission for longer than wanted, which was to bring you some amazing geckos just in time for the start of the new breeding season.

Well the good news is the wait is almost over.  On Tuesday, February 19th, 2013 at 6 PM EST, we will be updating our site with some spectacular geckos.  If you are looking to add nothing but the cream of the crop to your breeding collection, I think you will be very pleased with this on sale update.  There will definitely be a little bit of everything for just about any project.  We will be posting over 150 new geckos to the site!

For those of you in Europe, we will be delivering to the Spring HAMM show so this should give you just enough time to make your purchases and have the geckos sent for delivery to our partner at HAMM, Dutch Dragon Imports.  If you have any questions about terms and conditions please check out this page here.

A refresher for regulars and new comers alike on how sales will work on Tuesday if you want to get your first choices:

1.  Orders will be filled by ID # request (found on each geckos picture i.e. NGF01-01-0217) on a first come first serve basis.  You can either e-mail us with ID numbers (e-mails will be processed in the order they are received) or you can call us to make payment for geckos at 1-855-432-5646 or locally at 416-630-0063.  E-mail requests will be processed on a first-received-first-processed-basis.

2. PLEASE NOTE: Those who are calling in orders to pay in full immediately will TAKE PRIORITY over those putting ID numbers on a list and emailing them with payment to follow at a later date.  In other words, serious buyers who are willing to pay now will take presidence over those sending in their favorite choices to pay at a later date.  We are sorry but we cannot reserve a gecko without a non-refundable deposit to indicate your intent to purchase.  We used to try this system but found it too tedious to keep up with.  If you choose to email your requests please note someone may beat you out unless payment is received along with you email at the same time (i.e. PayPal submission).

SUMMER MALE SALE and UPCOMING SHOWS and MORE GECKOS & PRODUCTS?!?

Well hello there!  It has been some time since I have made an update.  I hope everyone has been enjoying their summer!

Just wanted to announce a limited time only sale to get things going, since we have had a large production of males this season (some really really nice ones at that).  Starting today, and I am not sure how long I want to run this, I will be offering my customers a buy one female crested gecko and gecko a male HALF PRICE (that's right, ANY male), so if you are looking for a sire, now is the time to scoop up and awesome one at a bargain price, while I let this sale continue.

What else?  I still have about 62 Crested geckos, many gargs, saras, chahoua and leachies that will be going up for sale in the next few weeks.  As you know these Cresties are always plump, 30 gram geckos and they are the last outstanding batch from last season.  Keep your eyes open for when these geckos will go on sale.  You might be wise to follow us on Facebook or Twitter, if you want to get a jump on when these geckos will be posted as I often drop hints there.

Also, the BIG Expos draw near, from around the globe! Northern Gecko will be participating in the Annual Canadian Reptile Breeders Expo on September 15th & 16th, 2012.  For more information on this National Canadian show, please check out www.reptilebreedersexpo.ca/. We will also be representing Repashy Superfoods at this show as well as the National Pet Industry Trade Show on September 16 & 17th, 2012.

BUT, before that, Northern Gecko will be represented at the Western Canada Reptile Expo (in Red Deer, Alberta) on August 25th & 26th, 2012 by Ectothermic Reptiles.  If you need any Repashy Superfoods or any of our high end animals, Kelly Jensen will be there to help you out.  You can contact him through his own page if you would like to reserve any thing for the show.

Also, for those looking for delivery to HAMM 2012, on Saturday September 8th, 2012, Northern Gecko will be delivering geckos to this show.  Please check our section on international shipping for how we get product to HAMM.

WELCOME TO THE NEW SITE, NEW GECKOS FOR SALE COMING AND THE MAY TORONTO EXPO!

Time to update the site design a little bit, which we will be tweaking over the next few weeks to make sure everything is working properly.  If you notice any problems please email us.  This was mainly done to bring our site up to date with all those other browsers and touch pads out there.  Hopefully, this will provide a better way for you to navigate through the images.  Your feedback on this is always appreciated as we continue to make modifications.

To celebrate, we will be putting up our next batch of geckos for sale VERY VERY soon (over 80 new geckos).  Keep an eye out.  And you KNOW how I love to post at midnight so I can make sure you don't get to work on time the next day!:)

If you are looking to purchase any geckos for the USA, we will be making our monthly delivery on Tuesday, April 24th for delivery before 10:30am on Wednesday, April 25th, 2012. Last call for payments to be included in this shipment it Thursday at midnight. Have a look in the available section if you are looking for any new additions. Remember, if you are already getting one gecko shipped to you there is no additional charge to receive more geckos with the same order. The window of opportunity is closing until next time.....

WHAT?? MORE GECKOS FOR SALE ALREADY ?!?!

Has anyone been really disappointed because their favourite gecko on the site sold really quickly? Have you been wondering when we might put some new geckos up on the site so you can get your chance to pick a really swell one? Well wonder no longer! Tonight at midnight Eastern Standard Time (EST), in about 4.5 hours, we will be posting another 80 crested geckos and some Chewies up on the site for sale.

Same as usual, we will hold them for you to ship to the USA or to the JUNE HAMM show, or anywhere else your heart desires. Thanks so much for your support and keeping us motivated to continue Redefining Rhacodactylus in Canada!

NEW GECKOS POSTED IN ALL SECTIONS AND THE EXPO!!

Hi everyone, time for a February update. We have new geckos posted in just about every section of the website if you are looking for anything special. We will be trucking down to the USA to drop geckos off there in mid-March and stuff will be flying out to HAMM in the for the HAMM show on March 10th. If you have anything else you would like to add to your orders are to start a new one, now is the time.

We will also be attending the Woodbine Reptile Expo. This new location has excellent promise and the show will be held from 9 am to 4 pm on Sunday February 26th, 2012. For further details check out the Expo Website at www.reptileexpo.ca for directions, location, etc. If you have any pre-sale orders for this show please let us know and we would be happy to bring them for you.

On another note the breeding season has begun and we have lots of eggs incubating now and we expect our first clutches of 2012 crested geckos to hatch any day now. We are excited as we are working with even more unique and varied stock this year.

Also, if you have not discovered this already, we have expanded the supplies we offer online to include shipping and display supplies as well as Exo-Terra products and we will soon be offering an array of gecko ledges and feeding dishes.
